Inn our first year at the R&C, a customer asked the following question:
Can you name 3 fish that start with the letter ‘K’ and ends with the letter ‘K’?
Immediately he offered to set the ball rolling with his suggestion of ‘KillerShark’.
No sooner had our smiles formed when he offered his second suggestion of ‘KwikSaveHaddock’.
The ensuing aimiable groans were followed by our inquisitor telling us that he would tell us the third and most famous fish that started with the letter ‘K’ and ended with the letter ‘K’,
” it’s ‘KILMARNOCK'” he triumphantly announced.
For many years I have received many postcards from Kilmarnock, receipts for haddock from Kwik Save, and a plethora of further suggestions, including:
