The Oxford Half will be returning this year on Sunday 12 October 2025. The event has sold out in record time with 13,000 entries, many of whom will be fundraising for local and national charities.

This will only affect the Rose and Crown, BANBURY ROAD, entrance to North Parade Avenue

… AT LUNCHTIME until 3pm at the LATEST!

ACCESS via WOODSTOCK ROAD, CANTERBURY ROAD and WINCHESTER ROAD will NOT be affected in any way!

In the evening the Banbury Road will have reopened.

Although the route remains similar to 2024 with road closures in place in Oxford for a limited period on Sunday 12 October, we have made some changes to the race route and start/finish venues. We are working with Oxfordshire County Council as the Highways authority and other key stakeholders to develop and refine our detailed event plans, and every effort is being made in the planning to minimise the disruption caused.

Please find the road closures and course map document.
