With immense sadness, we recently learned of the great loss of Tom Darby, after a long illness that he bore in the fashion of the ‘trooper’ that he was.

He was a true gentleman, raconteur and bon viveur.

We will miss him greatly.

His funeral service will be at St.Giles church, Oxford on Friday, 16th March at 2.15pm.

There will be a cup of char or similar, available at the Rose and Crown after the service.

The Reverend Canon Dr. Andrew Bunch, St Giles Church, 10 Woodstock Rd, Oxford OX2 6HT
