on April 23rd (2023) we ran our annual
RED ROSE RAFFLE – in a beautiful pot,
to celebrate St. Georges’ Day
in aid of a charity.

This years charity was alzheimer‘s research uk to whom we presented over £400.

Well done everyone whom supported the raffle.

and THE WINNER IS

the same person as last year !

… our hard working local city councillor and

LORD MAYOR of OXFORD
the Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor, Councillor James Fry.

… and as he was passing the Rose and Crown one afternoon last week, he stopped of, in

”  F C  1  “

one of the most notable car registration plates in the UK, the LORD MAYOR’S CAR.

to collect his beautiful prize.

PS He WAS wearing his chain of honour.
